DCI Seminar Series

The January DCI Seminar Series, hosted by the DCI Cancer Control and Population Sciences, featured Caryn Lerman, PhD. Lerman delivered the lecture “Translational Medication Development for Nicotine Dependence.”

Lerman is director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Nicotine Addiction and a professor of psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. She serves on the National Institute on Drug Abuse Advisory Council, and is a former member of the National Cancer Institute Board of Scientific Advisors and the National Advisory Council for Human Genome Research; in addition, she has authored or co-authored more than 320 publications.
