Members of the Duke Multidisciplinary Gastrointestinal Cancer Program is ready to deliver another CRUSHing blow to colorectal cancer as they prepare to lace up and step out for the Fourth Annual CRUSH Colorectal 5K Run on Saturday, March 25, in Durham.
According to the American Cancer Society, colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers in the United States. Every year more than 140,000 people are diagnosed with colon or rectal cancer. Every year, over 50,000 die from this disease.
The 2017 CRUSH Colorectal Cancer 5K and Walk, will take place Saturday, March 25. The 5K and walk start and finish on Ninth Street in Durham. Participants are encouraged to form teams and raise funds. For more information or to register, visit CRUSH.
