Local Teens To Host Charity Polo Match

The young women all attend Ravenscroft High School in Raleigh.Teens For The Cure is partnering with Triangle Area Polo to host Teens For The Cure Charity Polo Match on Sunday, Feb. 7, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Governor James B. Hunt Horse Complex in Raleigh.

General admission (bleacher seating) is $15 per person or $10 per person when purchased in groups of five or more. Party table seating (for groups of 10) is $1,500 per table.

Komen Scholar Kimberly Blackwell, MD, a onetime competitor showcasing the Morgan horse, will serve as the keynote speaker. Teens For The Cure is focuses on recruiting students to plan and produce special events that raise funds to support the work of Susan G. Komen North Carolina Triangle to the Coast, which takes place this year Saturday, June 11, at The Frontier, Research Triangle Park.

Proceeds from the polo match benefit Komen NC Triangle to the Coast, presented by Duke Cancer Institute. Tickets are available online and also at the door on the day of the event. To purchase tickets in advance, please click here.
