Wilde Named Administrative Director For GU Oncology Program

Natalie Wilde, AuD, MHA, formerly administrative director for Oncology Access Services, has been appointed administrative director for the Duke Cancer Institute’s GU Oncology Program.

“We are delighted to have Natalie accept the role of administrative director for the GU Oncology Program,” said Lori Pickens, MHA, administrator for the Duke Cancer Institute and associate vice president of Oncology Services, DUHS. “Natalie’s experience in various areas of healthcare administration, along with her most recent collaborations within the DCI, will help to advance our GU Oncology Program.”

Wilde joined Duke University Health System in 2009 as the access manager for Gastroenterology. To support meaningful use program development, in 2012 she transitioned to the quality reporting team with the Duke Private Diagnostic Clinic, PLLC. A year later, Wilde joined the Duke Cancer Institute to serve as administrative director for Oncology Access Services.

A native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Wilde received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2005 she received her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Wilde went on to practice for several years in the Department of Otolaryngology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In 2009 Wilde earned her master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

“I look forward to working collaboratively with the GU Oncology physicians, clinical and research teams,” Wilde said. “I am excited to be part of such a dynamic and driven team as we seek to advance a variety of comprehensive services for our GU Oncology patients.”

In her new role, Wilde provides overall leadership for the DCI administrative functions of the GU Oncology Program, including clinical operations, financial and human resource management, program development, space and facilities planning and collaborative leadership to support the clinical, academic and research missions of the programs.
