Lindsay MacDiarmada, MA, has been named administrative director for Wake County Oncology. In her new role MacDiarmada will be responsible for the strategic and financial management of Wake County Oncology, to include Duke Cancer Center Raleigh, Duke Cancer Center Macon Pond, Duke Cancer Center Cary and Duke Cancer Center Cary Radiation Oncology.
MacDiarmada joined Duke University Health System in 2008. Since 2013, she has served as regional administrator, managing operations of ambulatory practices (medical and surgical) in Durham and the surrounding communities. Her responsibilities have included oversight of labor, clinic finances and TJC audits. In addition to her role as Regional Administrator, MacDiarmada was the operational readiness lead for the Epic Implementation.
MacDiarmada received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2001 from the University of Wisconsin, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received her Master of Healthcare Administration in 2008 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

MacDiarmada assumed her role as administrative director for Wake County Oncology on Monday, Aug. 3.
