The Duke University School of Medicine ranks fifth among research oriented schools of medicine in the U.S., according to the 2012 U.S. News & World Report survey of best graduate schools.
In addition, the Duke University School of Nursing was tied for seventh among all schools of nursing. The survey also ranks Duke’s Physician Assistant Program as number one in the country.
Medical education at the Duke University School of Medicine includes programs that train medical students, residents and fellows, research scientists and post-doctoral fellows, physical therapists, physician assistants and pathologist assistants.
