Quit at Duke offers ongoing support from a Tobacco Treatment Specialist to help you in your journey to become tobacco free. Our tobacco treatment specialists meet with you to learn about what has worked and what hasn’t worked. All of our services are available virtually, so they can be conducted by video for your convenience.

Together, you’ll decide on a treatment plan that may include medication, counseling, or both. After your first visit, you will continue meeting with the medical provider to adjust your treatment to keep you on the right path. Your doctor may also follow-up with you by phone or MyChart, your secure portal to communicate with your Duke provider at your convenience.

Your doctor may also recommend you meet with a social worker. Our clinical social workers offer individual and group counseling to help you learn skills and strategies as you make this change.
