Duke Makes the Grade

<> In the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings (2021-2022), Duke University Hospital was once again named North Carolina's #1 hospital. The hospital was also nationally ranked in 11 adult specialties, including oncology, and 9 pediatric specialties, including pediatric cancer. DUH was rated "high performing" in colon cancer surgery and lung cancer surgery.

<>The Duke University School of Nursing
was ranked #3 (after Johns Hopkins Universty and Emory University) in USNWR's Top Nursing Master's Program rankings for the 2021-22 academic year. The ranking was also featured in an article in MedPage Today.
 
<>Forbes has ranked Duke among “Best Employers for Women” in 2021. Duke University Health System placed 10th and Duke University 11th among 300 large employers.
 
<> In other news Duke Health gains big rewards with claims status optimization — "obtaining denial information three to 14 days faster, and seeing a 20% reduction in the number of employees supporting insurance-claims status workflows." (HIMSS)
