The Duke Consortium for Inflammatory Breast Cancer will host a symposium in celebration of their trainees on Friday, April 9, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The event — a series of short, interactive talks about cancer research, patient advocacy and community engagement — will take place over Zoom. It is open to the general public as well as clinicians. A variety of speakers (from research and industry) will address such topics as health disparities, community engagement and patient advocacy. Keynote speakers include patient advocate Brandi Duff, PharmD, and Massimo Cristofanilli, MD, FACP — associate director of Translational Research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University and president of the Inflammatory Breast Cancer International Consortium.
