OncLive, in collaboration with Duke Cancer Institute will host a State of the Science Summit featuring a panel of experts from the DCI Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers, on Thursday, April 7, in Durham.

The event will be held in person from 5:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Raleigh-Durham Airport at Research Triangle Park (4810 Page Creek Ln, Durham, NC). There is no virtual option at this time.

Program chair Daniel George, MD, will present on frontline treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) and give an update on prostate cancer treatment. The other panelists/topics include Brant Inman, MD, MS, on frontline treatment of metastatic urothelial carcinoma (bladder cancer); Christopher Hoimes, DO, on later-line treatment of urothelial cancers (whether previously treated, locally advanced, or metastatic); and Michael Harrison, MD, on second and later-line treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer).

OncLive State of the Science Summits (SOSS) are in-person meetings designed for community oncologists that provide education on the science driving updates in cancer management and the associated clinical benefits for patients. SOSS attendees will improve their knowledge of novel treatment approaches and reinforce their confidence in applying state-of-the-art treatment strategies.
