Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for Assessing Spinal Metastases
What is the Purpose of this Study?
We are doing this study to learn if an MRI scan can find changes in the spinal cord that relate to pain.
What is the Condition Being Studied?
Cancer that has spread to the spine
Who Can Participate in the Study?
Adults diagnosed with spinal metastases in the C1 to S5 area who:
- Plan to be treated with Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT); prior radiation therapy to the spine is allowed
- Have a pain score of at least 1 (on a scale from 1-10)
- Are not pregnant
Age Group
Adults
What is Involved?
If you choose to join this study, you will have an MRI scan.
