Ten Duke Cancer Institute (DCI) members have been promoted to the rank of full professor in 2025 or hired at the rank of full professor since last year’s list.
“Congratulations to our faculty who have been promoted or appointed to the rank of full professor,” said Abbas Benmamoun, vice provost for faculty advancement. “This milestone is the culmination of a rigorous and thorough review by faculty peers inside and outside Duke and by the academic leaders at the department (or division), school and campus levels.”
The DCI members who received full professorships are:
- Justus Adamson, PhD, professor of radiation oncology
- Trinitia Cannon, MD, professor of head and neck surgery & communication sciences (appointment date April 1, 2025)
- Katherine Garman, MD, professor of medicine (appointment date June 1, 2025)
- Nicholas Heaton, PhD, professor of molecular genetics and microbiology
- Bo Hu, PhD, professor of biostatistics & bioinformatics (appointment date Jan. 1, 2025)
- Sven Jordt, PhD, professor of anesthesiology (appointment date June 1, 2025)
- Cynthia Moylan, MD, professor of medicine (appointment date Dec. 1, 2025)
- Diane Reidy-Lagunes, MD, professor of medicine (appointment date Aug. 1, 2025)
- Debra Silver, PhD, professor of cell biology (appointment date Sept. 1, 2025)
- Kris Wood, PhD, professor of pharmacology and cancer biology
